Parish Finance Council

The responsibility of the Parish Finance Council is to advise the pastor regarding financial matters of the parish. After analyzing ministries’ needs, debt service, plant maintenance and capital improvements, a fiscal budget proposal is prepared. Financial statements are reviewed at quarterly meetings. At the end of the fiscal year, the parish financial report is reviewed and approved by the members.

Scripture Study Groups

The purpose of the St. Patrick Scripture Study Groups is to share faith in small group settings, focusing on a particular book or theme from the Bible. We offer a variety of different days and times for your convenience. We use the “Little Rock Scripture Study” video tapes, study guides and commentaries as the basis for the weekly discussions. We believe this is a dynamic method using study, prayer and sharing that can help you make the real connection between your faith and everyday living, transforming mere believers into “doers of the Word”.

This study is an interesting, informative, down-to-earth approach to the Bible. All are welcome….from other parishes, as well as other faith communities. If you are interested in finding out more about our Scripture Study Program, please contact the Parish Office.

Prayer Groups

On the second Wednesday of each month, “Reflections” a woman’s prayer group, meets from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM in the Romero Room.  Sharing scripture, prayer and faith experiences helps us to recognize God’s presence in our everyday lives. All women are welcome to gather with us monthly. Give yourself the gift of time…to pray, share, enjoy hospitality and develop friendships. Contact the Parish Office

Small Christian Communities

Experiencing scripture and prayer in small groups strengthens our relationship with God and with others. Our communities gather twice a month either in homes or here in the parish. By praying and reflecting on the Sunday scripture our faith is deepened and we are prepared to receive the word of God more freely.  For more information about these faith communities or to start one of your own, please call the the Parish Office.

Lead Couple Ministry

Married couples provide engaged couples with necessary input and content to stimulate necessary discussion and sharing between the couple, to help the couple assess their own readiness for marriage. The program used is outlined by the Diocese and has been in existence since 1973. Married couples volunteering for this ministry will receive training.

Volunteers will meet wonderful engaged couples, befriend them, help them feel welcome at St. Patrick as well as enrich your own marriage. These couples help us renew our marriage as we help them prepare for a new life together. For more information contact the Parish Office.

Through the various commissions of the organization women are empowered and enabled to effect a powerful Christian response to many local, national, and international needs. Altar and Rosary Society

Our Altar & Rosary Society is a women’s group that provides a place for prayer, spiritual enrichment and fellowship. Our group helps blend prayer life and service to others with opportunities of outreach within our own parish and the greater community. We do this through monthly meetings that are either spiritual or social in nature. We raise funds through bake sales throughout the year. We also coordinate the funeral lunches that the parish offers their members.  We cordially invite you to attend our meetings and to become active in our group.  If as a parish member you would be able to help serve or donate food for the funeral lunches, please call the Parish Office.
