Gabriel Lickteig Lickteig,_G_2011

Gabe Lickteig is an alum of St. Patrick’s School and St. Pius X High School.  Gabe is currently at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio, and, God-willing, will conclude his studies for the priesthood in 2015.  Please keep Gabe in your prayers!

Andrew Mattingly.Mattingly,_A_2011

Andy Mattingly was our summer seminarian for 2013, and has returned to the North American College in Rome to conclude his studies, God-willing, in 2015.  Please keep Andy in your prayers!  He says:

“I’m 24 years old, and grew up in northern Florida until I was 13, at which point my family moved to St. Joseph.  I am the oldest of 3, with 2 younger sisters.  I attended Bishop Leblond High School (where both of my sisters currently attend) and then a brief one semester stint at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS before transferring to Conception Seminary.  After 3 1/2 years there, I was sent to study in Rome, where I am wrapping up my 2nd year of theological studies.  I enjoy playing soccer, as well as a sport that is perhaps a little more obscure, disc golf. As I have had little prior substantial parish experience, I am very excited to spend the summer at St. Patrick’s, hoping to learn all I can in these brief six weeks before heading back to Rome for another few years of theological studies.  God willing, I hope to be ordained a priest in 2015.  Please pray for me. ”   ~Andy

St. Patrick’s Hosts Northland Serrans for 2013-14
